Little Spartans is expanding!!!

Dear families,

We have some great news to tell you! Because of the success of Little Spartans and all of you and your recommendations and the choice you have made to let us care for your children, we have decided to expand our afterschool program starting in the fall. Children who are in Kindergarten and above will be moving to our 2nd location at 4604 Siggelkow road. This is down the road from us across from the baseball diamond/ Brandt park.  This also means that we will be able to provide more wrap around care for 4k students at our current location. We are so excited for this change. We will be able to have a whole program dedicated to the school age children and focus on their needs. We will continue to offer great care and will be able to create an environment strictly for our older children. Throughout the summer the children will be able to give us ideas on things they would like to have and do at the new location! One thing we will for sure be incorporating is a homework area with teacher help and guidance.  If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask. Below I have written some information that might help answer questions you may have.

Drop off for school age children that need transportation to school in the mornings will remain at the current facility. This may change as we grow but we will keep you posted. Pick up will be at our new location. 4k students will remain the same, at the current location. We are very lucky to have Brandt park located across the street from our new location. There is a playground as well as a field that we can play in.

Rates will have the usual increase in September and will be available shortly. As usual the increase will be minimal.

The Amazing Ms Tabitha will be running the afterschool program along with her assistant named Maria who will start with us this summer. If you would like to see the facility let me know. The plan is to have access to it as of July 15th. None of this would be possible without all of you! Please spread the word to your friends and Family!! If you refer someone to our program you will get 25% off a week’s tuition after their first week!!!

Thank you,

Lindsey

A place where children learn and grow

Here at Little Spartans we offer an atmosphere where learning and growing is all apart of our daily plan. We incorporate fun into our curriculum so children get the most out of what they learn.

Little Spartans has Openings starting this summer for ages 2 to 4 years (not entering 4k). Check us out!! If your child is ready to start in a Preschool Program we are here to guide them and teach them all the exciting new lessons they need to learn. From colors to letters we are here to make it fun and exciting, offering an atmosphere where learning is fun! Call us to schedule a tour today. Space is limited.

Toddlers- 24 months to 36 months

Children will learn through play as well as through teacher directed activities. Group times, calendar time and other teacher guided activities will be learned as a fun way to teach children how to participate in a group and to interact with their peers. Sensory activities and free choice will be given to provide children with the time to use their imagination and learn through play. Each child will be treated as an individual and will be taught that way. Children will begin potty training which will be done through strong communication between families and staff. No child will be forced to use the potty but instead will be persuaded and encouraged in a positive way to create an exciting learning experience. Daily activities allow the children to further develop language, social, problem solving, fine and gross motor skills. Emphasis is placed on exploring and playing together.

Preschool -3 years to 4 years

The preschool program offers a variety of hands-on activities and experiences. Through play, children create, explore, and pretend. Planned activities and consistent daily schedules are balanced with free time to create a developmentally appropriate setting that enhances the preschooler's love of learning. Each child will engage in social interactions with peers through games and free play. Children will have access to different centers throughout the classroom to give them hands on approach to learning.  Teachers will offer teacher directed activities and learning experiences to develop skills in all appropriate areas of learning. Teachers will make it fun and enjoyable for children to learn new things. Teachers will observe children to find out what they are interested in and develop curriculum accordingly.
